HTC One M9 is now available in Bangladesh for 60,000 taka

It looks like before HTC is launching its One M9 flagship smartphone in most countries around the globe, customers of Bangladesh are already have the pleasure to grab the device without any T&C! The initial price of the device is set to 60,000 taka or $765. Originally unveiled during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the One M9 features the same design as its predecessors except that the display panel has thinner bezels and the metal body is now two-tone with the edges featuring a different colour tone. HTC One M9 sports a 5-inch Super LCD3 full-HD display (1920x1080p). Powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 64-bit octa-core processor and 3GB RAM, the phone offers 32GB storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 128GB storage.



The phone sports a 20MP rear camera (BSI, sapphire glass lens) and a 4MP Ultrapixel front camera with super-wide angle lens. The new HTC flagship runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company's brand new Sense 7 UI on top. The new HTC Sense 7 brings upgraded BlinkFeed. The skin is not very different from its current avatar but now offers the ability to customize the UI theme with a source image and has a location-aware menu that changes app shortcuts depending on the user's location.

Connectivity options on the One M9 include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GLONASS, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, and LTE. It features ambient light, proximity, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, magnetic, and sensor hub, while it supports single Nano-SIM cards.

The HTC One M9 packs a 2840mAh battery which is slightly larger than the One (M8) that came with 2600mAh battery. It measures 144.6x69.7x9.61mm and weighs 157 grams.

The new flagship also retains the One family's iconic dual front-facing speakers and BoomSound and with Dolby Audio and 5.1 channel Dolby Surround sound simulation. The handset also supports 24-bit high-definition sound quality.

Price of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge is announced in Singapore

HTC One M8 is now available in Bangladesh for 58,000 taka

HTC has finally made the HTC One M8 official on 25th of March, and the device is out on the market on the very first day of announcement. HTC says the One M8 will be the single largest product launch in its history, and will be sold on 230 networks globally. Before the end of April, it will be released in America, UK, Germany, France, China, Australia, and Taiwan. And it has been available in Bangladeshi market for the last few days too. But the worrying fact is once again there is no official channel in Bangladesh for any HTC products that’s why you won’t get any sorts of warranty with this 58,000 taka ($750) product. The HTC One M8 is available in Gunmetal Grey, Amber Gold, and Glacial Silver color options in various mobile brand shops around Dhaka city.



The all-new HTC One M8 comes with a 5-inch full-HD display and will be available in 16GB and 32GB storage options, with support for expandable storage via microSD cards of up to 128GB capacity. It comes with a body that's '90 percent metal' and exudes the same premium feel as its predecessor. The phone comes with 2GB of RAM.

Another important selling point of HTC One M8 is the dual camera setup that puts a 4-UltraPixel camera alongside a depth sensing camera that lets you do cool things like refocusing images after they've been clicked and other stuff. A 5-megapixel front camera is included as well. HTC One M) comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat along with a brand new Sense 6 UI on top, which HTC is calling the biggest upgrade since Sense debuted. The phone comes with a 2600mAh battery.

But the real question is: Does the all-new HTC One have what it takes to win people’s hearts and wallets this time around, helping to return the company to former glories. Or will it suffer at the hands of Samsung and the Galaxy S5? I fear that at least in countries like Bangladesh or in Indian sub continental, it’s impossible to beat Samsung because of their monstrous marketing team. Samsung even have the manpower to sell their devices in street too where HTC lacks even official distributor. And Samsung Galaxy S5 with 2 years of warranty is even cheaper that non-warranty HTC One M8.

Samsung releases Galaxy S5 in Bangladesh with complete Gear family

For a mobile enthusiastic 11 April is the day to remember for me. Because this is the day of Samsung Galaxy S5 release all over the world. And my home country Bangladesh is no different. Actually Samsung unveiled the phone yesterday with a grand launching ceremony. The device is price 60,000 taka ($770) only! Yes I said only, because the previous 2 flagships were both launched with 69,900 taka ($900) price tag. So it’s wonderful news if you want to buy this premium 2014 device by Samsung. The device with a 2.1 GHz Octa core processor will also be available at 12 equal monthly installments. Samsung is also offering free S View cover with every S5 purchase. The device boasts a finger scanner for security and long term evolution access, which is a far faster wireless technology compared to 3G.



The handset was officially launched at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel in Dhaka yesterday in exclusive association with mobile operator Robi, the third largest operator with 25.7 million subscriptions. Robi customers will get some special benefits for six months, such as 500 megabytes of free internet surfing, missed call alert, breaking news, and sports news.

Don’t assume that Robi is the only operator to offer Galaxy S5. All other mobile phone operators like Grameenphone, Airtel and Banglalink also has Galaxy S5 on their bag too. The device comes in four colors -- charcoal black, shimmery white, electric blue and copper gold.

Along with Galaxy S5 release, Samsung also release all three Gear smartwatches in the market. But the pricing seems way too far of the international market. Samsung priced The Gear 2 at 32,500 taka ($420), Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit at 21,500 taka ($275). The price was excellent at the pre-order period. Samsung has offered Gear Fit at the rate of only 10,000 taka ($130), when it was ordered along with Galaxy S5. But we hope Samsung will surely lower the prices very soon.

Rumor of cheaper Samsung Galaxy S5 might be true

One of the very few rumors regarding Samsung Galaxy S5 is it will be a cheaper device from Galaxy S4 considering the opening price. And the good news is that might be true. According to a South Korean source the official launch price of Galaxy S5 will be $750, around $80 lower than previous Galaxy phone. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is going to hit the world covering 150+ countries on April 11, but there is still no official pricing announced from the Korean manufacturer.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to go on pre-order two weeks before launch. Many EU retailers have the Galaxy S5 already listed with prices, but those are unofficial and will be corrected once the retail pricing is confirmed.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus worldwide pricing and availability

New Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running Samsung Galaxy Nexus was announced yesterday. It is the first smartphone with an HD super AMOLED display, measuring at 4.65 inches boasting the resolution of 720x1280. The display is slightly curved, just like the Nexus S. Now after a day, we have some news on our hand about the release date and pricing of this 3rd Google phone in different countries.

The Galaxy Nexus will hit shelves in the United States, Norway, Japan, Canada and the UK first, starting in early to mid-November. Verizon will be offering the Android 4.0 smartphone in the US, NTT DOCOMO will handle it in Japan. After a long time since the announcement LG Optimus 3D is finally available via UK’s Carphone Warehouse. You can buy this 3D Android phone both in contract with carrier and SIM Free option. Amazon.de Pre-orders Both Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1

After months of speculation new Samsung galaxy Tabs are showing there faces in different websites. Earlier this month J&R start offering Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 16GB Wi-Fi only version for $499.99. Now Amazon.de offers both galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 to us. They comes with 3G version with black and white color variation.
