Moto E LTE now available on Sprint and Boost Mobile; Virgin Mobile sets for March 9

The Moto E (2015) has been available in the US in unlocked form for a while, and yesterday it's also gone on sale at a couple of carriers. Actually, we're talking about Sprint and one of its prepaid brands - Boost Mobile, to be exact. Sprint's other prepaid brand, Virgin Mobile, will launch the new Moto E on March 9 (which is this coming Monday).

Sprint Pre-Paid will be picking it up in black and selling it through Best Buy and Radio Shack. They also have it listed for $99.99. As you can see in the image above, they aren’t selling through their prepaid online store. It could make an appearance eventually, but for now you will need to visit Best Buy to pick one up.

Moto E 2015 now available on Sprint Prepaid and Boost Mobile; coming to Virgin Mobile March 9

Boost Mobile is the first to officially launch the device with a starting price tag of $99.99. That is for the LTE variant, making it $50 less than if you bought it out right and unlocked from Motorola. Boost is only offering the device in white though.

The Virgin Mobile variant will also come in black for Virgin Mobile and be sold through Wal-Mart starting March 9th. No mention of price was released in the announcement email I received, but I think it is safe to assume it will also retail for $99.99.

The 2015 Moto E has a 4.5-inch 960x540 display, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. It comes in both LTE and non-LTE flavors, featuring 1.2GHz quad-core processors, though the non-LTE version has a Snapdragon 200, while the LTE version has the Snapdragon 410. The Moto E has a 5MP rear camera, with a front-facing VGA sensor.

If you are waiting to buy a smartphone that costs like a feature phone then i have some good news courtesy of Motorola. Motorola's new second-gen Moto E is not a high-end device nor is it a mid-range device. It's an entry-level, budget smartphone running Google's latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system. Moto E is now official and it looks great, bringing a solid Android smartphone experience for any budget.

The new Moto E is the most phone you can get for $150

Moto E 2015 3G model has Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 inside, its Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 for LTE model. 4.5 inch display has 540 X 960 pixels with gorilla glass 3 protection. Internal memory is 8GB with 1GB RAM. Back camera is 5 megapixel along with VGA selfie camera at front. A 2390mAh battery powers the phone.

The Moto E 2nd generation price is set at $119 off-contract for the 3G base model, which is currently the same price as the 2014 edition Moto E as listed on Best Buy. The 4G or LTE version of the Moto E 2015 price is 149 USD. Keep in mind that this is the contract free price!
