Prepare Your Honeycomb Tablet for Android 3.1 Firmware Upgrade

Android 3.0 Honeycomb is the best and most powerful operating system tablet computer till date and only a few super power tablets have the chance to have it inside. If you are one of them then you will be very much pleased to know that the name if Android 3.0 firmware upgrade, Android 3.1 is just heard from Adobe. Earlier today Adobe released an update for its Flash Player 10.2 for Android. Besides the regular bug fixes and security enhancements, it mentions about some optimizations for upcoming Android 3.1. Two of those upgrade are hardware accelerated video presentation and enhanced browser integration.

But after a while Adobe change the term Android 3.1 to "an upcoming release of Android 3". We guess that Google don’t like to mention the name of next Honeycomb update now. We are hoping that Android 3.1 running tablets will be able to play 720p Flash videos within the browser from websites like YouTube.

The next Google I/O conference is scheduled for May 10. We hope that will be time we should heard the official announcement by Google about future Honeycomb update.

Install Android 3.0 Honeycomb on Your Samsung Galaxy Tab

With tons of Android running Tablets are coming to world market everybody forget about original Galaxy Tab by Samsung released a year ago. Its run by Android 2.2 froyo till now and Samsung doesn’t wish to give its user Android 3.0 Honeycomb tastes as rumor tells us. So if you wish to use Android 3.0 in your Galaxy Tab then unofficial Android 3.0 ROM is available on the internet for you. While it may not be the most stable ROM out there, because SDK-based ROMs aren’t as reliable as ROMs based on the actual source code. But it is usable. But you have to be ready to face some bugs because the project is under development. If you face any problems then feel free to inform it in XDA developer’s page.
