Once again courtesy by Evleaks we have some light over Sony’s one of upcoming product in MWC next weeks. It’s a tablet possibly named XPERIA Z2, successor of nicely designed XPERIA Z tab. Samsung announces Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 to make you more productive than ever

Samsung unveiled four new tablets in CES 2014 from two new lines, the Pro versions of the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab tablets. Their sizes range from 8.4" to 12.2", breaking past the current barrier of 10.1" tablets. What is interesting here all four tablets feature flagship specs that are very similar between themselves. All of them have Wi-Fi only versions along with a 3G/4G version and new faux leather back like Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO is a 12.2-inch tablet targeting more business-minded users. As well as playing host to the company’s now familiar S-Pen stylus, the high-end device packs in a raft of productivity features around a premium array of components and an all new Widget based user interface. We can say that Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is the Samsung’s answer to Microsoft’s business-oriented Surface Pro tablet.

Is Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 too heavy to use in one hand?

The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is an upsized Note 10.1. It features a 12.2" Super Clear LCD (Sorry mate, its not AMOLED) of WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) with support for finger touch and the S Pen stylus. The tablet features the characteristic S Pen features, including the Pen Window multitasking option. A new Multi Window split-screen option is available allowing you to work with up to four apps simultaneously. The multitasking is powered by either a Snapdragon 800 chipset or an Exynos 5 Octa. The tablet runs Android 4.4 KitKat and has 3GB RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 hardware is as expected – 3G for the Exynos model, Cat. 4 LTE for the Snapdragon model, 8MP camera with 1080p @ 60fps video capture (30fps for Exynos) and a bigger 9,500mAh battery. Storage is either 32GB or 64GB, but you get a microSD card slot too. it also has microUSB 3.0 port just like Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Is it OK to buy Samsung Galaxy NotePRO instead of new laptop?

Samsung went further and enabled interconnectivity with your PC too – with RemotePC you can control your computer from the Note Pro 12.2 or control the tablet through the computer. If you use the tablet, the Universal BT Keyboard and the S Action Mouse will come in handy. Other accessories include the USB LAN hub and the Book Covers.

Samsung Galaxy NotePRO feature list is not just ends here. You get Cisco WebEx Meetings for conferencing and Samsung e-Meetings for collaboration. The Ultimate User Content Gift Package, which Samsung values at $700, features pre-paid subscriptions for services and apps, including the Sketchbook Pro app, Dropbox and Bitcasa, Hancom Office, Evernote, other apps and a subscription for a number of news sites.

Why should i buy Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2?

Though the device is big but it feels surprisingly light and balanced in your hands – even it weighs 750g. It can be held with one hand for a reasonable amount on time before it starts to ache. The leather rear finish offers good grip while managing to feel solid and well built at the same time.

Samsung's new NotePro makes a significant step toward the company leaving behind the traditional Android interface in favor of something more graphical and immediate. Although pricing has yet to be announced, Samsung has confirmed that the NotePRO will start a global rollout this March in white and black versions.

Samsung working on a 11.6-inch Android tablet?

Samsung is the only company in the world I think producing Android tablet of four different size and resolution. It now seems they are working hard to make it 5 with a bigger 11.6-inch tablet running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. We heard it from BGR and they claimed there source is reliable. The unicorn device will feature a 2560×1600 resolution display of 16:10 aspect ratio. The source mentioned that only the bezel would be shrinking for the most part, with the device size remaining largely the same as current 10.1-inch tablets.
When will samsung release next Android galaxy tab?
This 11.6-inch tablet will be most likely be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in February with upcoming 2 GHz 5250 Exynos CPU and NFC. Samsung is reportedly aiming for connectivity with televisions offering a wireless docking mode for gaming on your HDTV. I can’t wait to see the real picture of it? What about you?

Verizon announces 2 new Motorola tablets, you must like them

Last month almost silently Motorola introduces Xoom 2 tablet along with 8.2’’ media edition. Now I repeat the news courtesy of Verizon. They just announced those new Android tablets with the white Motorola Droid RAZR. The DROID XYBOARD tablets come in 10.1" and 8.2" size, just like as Motorola Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition.

Surely these are the LTE editions of the new Motorola tablets. Both of the DROID XYBOARD tablet has 1280x800 pixel IPS displays and 1.2GHz dual-core processors bundled with 1GB of RAM. They have Wi-Fi and a HDMI port with quite unusual infrared port. But with the help of this port you can use the tablets as remote control. The 4G LTE connection can be used as a mobile hotspot, allowing up to eight Wi-Fi tethered devices to connect.
Verizon motorola xoom 2 tablet plan price
Both the 10.1-inch and 8.2-inch DROID XYBOARDs will be available by the end of the year. Price of DROID XYBOARD 10.1 are $529.99(16GB), $629.99(32GB) and $729.99(64GB). As for the DROID XYBOARD 8.2, only 16GB and 32GB version will be available for $429.99 and $529.99, respectively. I am pretty sure that the price is quite affordable when you are getting 4G LTE dual-core Android tablet at this price range.

Motorola announces Xoom 2 tablet, has a 8.2-inch brother too

Motorola has officially announced the Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition today. The Xoom 2 has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 10.1-inch display. It runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb though I am expecting Ice Cream Sandwich firmware later. It also offers 5 megapixel front and 1.3 megapixel rear-facing cameras. Motorola Xoom 2 supports Motorola's new Splash-guard protection.

Now something about its younger brother, Xoom 2 Media Edition. The Xoom 2 Media Edition features similar specs, except 8.2-inch display size. It has the same Gorilla Glass protection. It also promises a 20-percent improvement over the original Xoom in the graphics department, which, along with a 178 degree viewing angle make the tablet optimized for media consumption, as the name implies. Till now Motorola Xoom 2 and Xoom 2 Media Edition has only been announced in the UK and Ireland. We are hoping that Motorola Xoom 2 tablet will hit the retailers like Carphone Warehouse at the middle of November. In UK you can buy Motorola Xoom from Best Buy, Dixons, PC World and Currys too. But we don’t know the price of news Xoom tablet yet.

LONDON – November 3, 2011 – Building on the success of Motorola XOOM™, Motorola Mobility is rocking the tablet world yet again with two additions that bring enhanced experiences to the European market. Wi-Fi variants of the Motorola XOOM 2™ and Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition™ -- boasting powerful productivity, rich entertainment and customizable experiences -- are now available: the answer to consumers looking for a tablet that can keep up with their lifestyle. Both tablets will be available at Carphone Warehouse in the UK and Ireland, as well as Best Buy, Dixons, PC World and Currys in the UK.

"Tablets are quickly becoming a must-have tool for staying connected, getting work done and having fun at home and on the road," said Victoria McManus, marketing director UK & Ireland, Motorola Mobility. "We are very excited about these two new additions to our tablet portfolio that build on the success of the original Motorola XOOM to now deliver more powerful tablet experiences to the European market."

The new Motorola XOOM 2 and Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition both feature Android 3.2, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, brilliant displays with Corning® Gorilla® Glass and a splashguard coating for a go anywhere, do everything attitude. In addition, both tablets include the new MotoCast™ app that lets you stream all your music, photos, videos and documents between your PC or Mac and tablet without any media tools, apps, or cords.

Motorola XOOM 2: Lighter and Brighter
Motorola XOOM 2 with Wi-Fi sports a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display and Android 3.2 Honeycomb like its predecessor, but the similarities end there. The display is brighter and more vibrant than before with colour enhancement, and the edges have been strategically designed to make the tablet more comfortable to hold -- this tablet is easy on the eyes, and easy on the hands. It is compatible with the optional Motorola Stylus that is great for note-taking, hand-writing emails and sketching. Motorola XOOM 2 is loaded with Business Ready features like VPN support and data encryption.

Motorola XOOM 2 with Wi-Fi features MOTOPRINT integrated into key apps so you can print wirelessly from your tablet. It is approximately 100 grams lighter than the original Motorola XOOM to make it even easier to take on the road, and can withstand poolside use, spilled drinks or dashes out to the car in the rain thanks to its new splash-guard coating. A battery delivering more than 10 hours of video playback means it can go with you wherever you need to be.

Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition: Beat your Boredom
Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition with Wi-Fi is easy to hold with one hand thanks to its 8.2-inch display, and easy to take with you wherever you go, weighing less than the best-selling paperback you've been carrying around. Optimised for entertainment, it has a wide, 178 degree viewing angle. Hold it up to someone across the room, or share it with someone sitting next to you, and everyone gets a brilliant view.

Motorola XOOM 2 Media Edition has a 20 percent improvement in graphics performance over the original Motorola XOOM for smoother gaming, features adaptive virtual surround sound with booming bass that'll delight your ears, and stands out from the crowd with the fastest multi-tasking in its class. It can even be a universal remote control for home AV equipment with the personalized, custom remote control app pre-loaded on the tablet. Lastly, a splash-guard coating provides extra protection against the spills that are bound to happen when you're having fun.

Accessories to connect to your life easier, from anywhere
With the Work and Play kit, plug your tablet into the HD Multimedia Station to connect to your HDTV, speakers and other peripherals for large-screen entertainment. Get more done, faster with the included keyboard and mouse with Bluetooth technology. Now, when your tablet is docked, the Smart Controller lets you MC the show from the comfort of your couch. For Motorola XOOM 2, no accessory discussion is complete without mentioning the Motorola Stylus with Precision tip - your tablet's best friend.

Unknown Motorola tablet photo leaks, looks hot

A blurry shot of an unannounced Motorola tablet just leaked. The super-slim tablet appears to be sporting a screen much smaller than that of the Xoom . It’s most probably measuring 7 or 8 inches in diagonal. The upcoming Motorola tablet is surely running Android Honeycomb. If you see the image carefully then you will see the Honeycomb camera app is running.
motorola 7 inch tablet release date
Previously, Motorola’s CEO Sanjay Jha hinted that his company is working on a 7-inch slate that should be more fun and more portable than the Xoom and this leaked slate looks to fit the bill well. The device is supposed to come out before the end of the year.

Android running Amazon Kindle 7’’ tablet is coming in this year, costs $250

We just got some good news about next Amazon Kindle. It will be Android running tablet. A 7-inch will hit the market in this year. Another 10-inch Android tablet will see the light in 2011. The 7″ Amazon Kindle tablet will launch with a really cool-sounding $250 price tag (Wi-Fi only model). It will a pack a full-color LCD (no eInk here). Then there’s also this rumor that a one-year subscription to Amazon Prime (worth $79 on its own) will be included in the price. There won’t be a camera on board and the 7″ Amazon Kindle might end up with a single-core CPU, whereas dual-core will only come with the 10″ version.

The on-board storage will be a relatively modest 6GB, but the SD card slot should be able to give you as much space as you need. And the thing will be using a standard microUSB port.amazon kindle android tablet 3g model price

Lenovo announces 7-inch IdeaPad A1 1GHz tablet for $199 only

Various companies are going for low-level cheap Android running tablet market now. Lenovo now also joins the race. Their new 7-inch IdeaPad A1 costs only $199. It is the price of 8GB version. There’s a 16GB version, which will run you $249, plus a 32GB version for $299. Who would want those, considering there’s a microSD slot is another question.

Instead of Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the Lenovo IdeaPad A1 is a 7″ tablet that runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The 7″ screen is an IPS-LCD unit with 600 x 1024 pixels resolution. The A1 is powered by a one single core 1GHz Cortex-A8 processor and runs an almost untouched version of Gingerbread. There’s just a Lenovo-made widget and a Lenovo app store. You’ll have access to the real Android Market too, so you get the hundreds of thousands of apps that Android has to offer. There’s also an offline mapping solution courtesy of Navdroyd.

We can’t expect a Honeycomb update for IdeaPad A1 tablet. But there’s always a chance of a custom Honeycomb ROM.

Other specs for the IdeaPad A1 include a 3MP main camera and VGA secondary camera. The tablet is 10.1mm thick and weighs around 400g. It’s a Wi-Fi only device, there’s no Wi-Fi+3G version. Lenovo IdeaPad A1 will be released by the end of September.

Apple wins in Australia; Samsung delays Galaxy Tab 10.1 until October

After so much drama in Europe it’s now Australia’s turn. Samsung has now forced to delay the launch of its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia, obviously due to Apple. In a hearing today, the Korean manufacturer announced that it would refrain from selling or marketing its new tablet within Australia, before September 30th. Samsung made a similar concession earlier this month, agreeing to halt sales of its slates until today's hearing and to provide Apple with product samples at least seven days prior to its Australian launch.
samsung galaxy tab 10.1 contract free price in australia
Apple will detail the specific patents involved in the case by this Friday and will provide a more comprehensive statement of facts by September 5. Samsung will provide points in answer by September 16, with the case going to a formal hearing on September 26 and 29. It was indicated today that top executives and inventors from both Apple and Samsung may appear in person or over video link to explain their patents.

The company says it presented the samples on Thursday, but Cupertino's lawyers insisted that the Australian version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 still infringes upon its patents. Samsung, meanwhile, said in a statement that it's preparing to launch a counter-attack down under, telling reporters that it "intends to file a cross claim against Apple Australia and Apple Inc. regarding the invalidity of the patents previously asserted by Apple and also a cross claim against Apple regarding violation of patents held by Samsung by selling its iPhones and iPads."

Samsung announces LTE version of Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 8.9, set to debut at IFA

Samsung has announced two new versions of their two hot cake products ahead of their presumably big showing at IFA this week in Berlin, the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 8.9, both with LTE. Both devices are sporting an updated dual-core processor running at 1.5GHz, while the S II is also getting a size bump and moving up to a 4.5-inch screen. The Tab remains otherwise unchanged, rocking the same 1200 x 800 screen and super-svelte (8.6mm thick) design.

There is now word on price and availability of Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. We've heard all sorts of rumors and speculation about exactly what Samsung has in store for Verizon customers.

Samsung speeds up the Smarter Life with LTE versions of the GALAXY S II and GALAXY Tab 8.9

SEOUL--(Korea Newswire) August 28, 2011 -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a leading mobile phone provider, today announced LTE editions of its GALAXY S II and GALAXY Tab 8.9. These stylish devices now offer high-speed 4G connectivity in addition to power, portability and second-to-none screen technology.

"With the introduction of GALAXY S II LTE and GALAXY Tab 8.9 LTE, we will take the capabilities of these devices to a whole new level. LTE redefines the user experience made possible by these devices and opens entirely new possibilities in terms of content viewing, sharing, quality and connectivity," said JK Shin, President and Head of Samsung's Mobile Communications Business.

"This is a milestone in our commitment to lead the charge in 4G mobile telephony around the world, both in terms of back-end network solutions for service providers and the development of powerful consumer handsets," added Shin.

When connected to a 4G network, LTE technology allows portable devices to download high-quality files at speeds of up to 100Mbps, and to upload at speeds of 50Mbps theoretically – five times faster than even the quickest HSPA+ connection. This means that a four-minute long MP3 track can be downloaded in 0.3 seconds, or an entire film file in less than two minutes.

The enhanced connectivity afforded by LTE technology opens up a range of possibilities for users: Features like social gaming, video conferencing and high-quality media streaming can all be enjoyed seamlessly, with vast improvements in download times and connectivity. 4G technology also enables the seamless and near-instant sharing of multimedia content with friends and family, ensuring that users can share the experiences they love whenever they want.

Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 European Launched Delayed due to Apple Lawsuit

Apple successfully blocked the release of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia last week. Now a second Apple victory will prevent Samsung from selling the Tab 10.1 in Europe. Galaxy Tab 10.1 will sell freely in the Netherlands for now. But the reasons for why the Netherlands are excluded from the injunction are not clear.

This is a preliminary injunction, which will last until the German court reaches a decision. Galaxy Tab 10.1 units that have already been shipped to stores will sell normally but there won't be resupplies until this is finished. Samsung may also have to pay a fine of €250,000 for each violation.
samsung galaxy tab 10.1 uk release date
Here is an official statement issued by Samsung on the ruling of the German court:
Samsung is disappointed with the court’s decision and we intend to act immediately to defend our intellectual property rights through the ongoing legal proceedings in Germany and will continue to actively defend these rights throughout the world.
The request for injunction was filed with no notice to Samsung, and the order was issued without any hearing or presentation of evidence from Samsung.
We will take all necessary measures to ensure Samsung’s innovative mobile communications devices are available to customers in Europe and around the world.
This decision by the court in Germany in no way influences other legal proceedings filed with the courts in Europe and elsewhere.
