It is almost certain that Android trend will comes to the entire mobile phone world to replace current java running phones. That’s why manufacturers must lower Android phones price. And now Samsung is directly on the way. They announced 4 mid-range lower priced Android phones. These for Samsung Android phones are- mid-range Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, the slightly lower placed Samsung Galaxy Gio S5660. Next 2 phones are lower configured than others- Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 and Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570.
All the new Samsung Android handsets run same version of Android, 2.2 Froyo. They all pack quad-band GSM/EDGE, 3G with HSDPA supports. A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB are also common. They all have the Samsung custom TouchWiz launcher preinstalled too.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 1st appeared on the Indonesian site of Samsung. It has a 3.5’’ HVGA TFT touchscreen of 320 X 480 resolution. Qualcomm QCT MSM7227-1 Turbo 800 MHz processor powers Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830. There is also a 5 megapixel LED flash camera on the back.
The Galaxy Ace is more powerful than the Optimus One. It has a bigger and more responsive screen, a faster processor and a better camera. The Ace’s connectivity package also features the Wireless N support. Unfortunately Galaxy Ace web browser don’t support flash contents.
Galaxy Ace is already available in Russia. Samsung are planning to release this Galaxy Ace S5830 in Europe & Asia in the Q1 of 2011.![]()
Nest on the list Samsung Galaxy Gio S5600 has a 3.2’’ HVGA TFT screen. Its CPU is clocked at 800 MHz with a 3 megapixel fixed focus camera on the back. And this time Galaxy Gio is without flash.![]()
The Samsung Galaxy Fit S5670 (Also known as Galaxy Suit) has a better camera inside. Galaxy Fit equipped with 5 megapixel autofocus snapper. The processor running the whole thing is going at 600 MHz. But it compromises it’s display quality. 3.31-inch QVGA LCD display doesn't sound too inspiring. ![]()
Among the four the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 has the lowest specs sheet on hand. A 3.14-inch QVGA screen and a 600 MHz CPU onboard indicating cheaper price.![]()
These three Samsung Android Galaxy Fit, Gio and Mini trio is also expected to release in the first quarter of this year.
