Google just updated there reader app for Android devices. New version 1.0.1 is already available in Android Market free of cost. The Reader app has been given a visual refresh that brings it more in-line with recent products from Google such as Google+. It now also supports Honeycomb running tablets. Tablet users will be happy to know that the Reader app is now optimized for use on the larger screen of a tablet.
The Reader app now makes it easier to share or star an article in your feed, as there are new buttons to do so with at the upper right of every story. The visual elements of the app are cleaner and easier to read, and the app fits in better with the rest of Android 2.3 Gingerbread's visual cues.
