Meizu is another China-based up-and-comer – maybe less famous to western customers than Xiaomi, but definitely spearheading its way to success in the eastern markets. And surely they are in the right direction. Because otherwise it would be impossible for them to sell around 2 million devices in the last month alone. This compares to the 1 and 1.5 million smartphones it sold in the months of December 2014 and January this year, respectively.

Back in February this year, Li Nan, VP of Marketing and Sales at Meizu, said that the company could reach the 20 million figure by the end of the year. However, he also made it clear that it's not something they are aiming to achieve.
What could be the catalyst for so many sales, though? Well, we've heard rumors about an upcoming Meizu MX4 Supreme, and whispers that it will be made in collaboration with Nokia have flew around more than a couple of times (even though they've been denied by Meizu officials).
