Earlier Samsung told that Android 2.3 gingerbread update for their Galaxy S would come in middle of April. They have their word. Samsung opens their Kies server for some parts of Europe with Android 2.3 Galaxy S firmware update. Nordic countries, Holland and Germany are the top of the list to get the update. Now reports are coming in of users successfully updating their Hummingbird-equipped handsets.
We expect that all other European countries soon to receive Android 2.3 firmware via Samsung Kies anytime.
