After so many odds at last Samsung starts to update I9000 Galaxy S handsets with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. At thim moment only UK users are getting the firmware upgrade via their Samsung Kies. But within a few days all other countries and mobile carriers will get this update too.
The Gingerbread update should bring several key improvements to the first Galaxy S smartphone such as improved performance, less battery drain as well as some usability tweaks.
