Google mobile OS, Android is now only 3 years old. But already it starting to control the worldwide mobile market. It is also expected that Google Android will be the next mobile king by 2015. In Google I/O we have some interesting numbers about Android dominance. Already there are 100 million Android devices activated already. The number of daily activations is already over 400,000.
There is good news for Android apps developers too. There are over 200,000 apps available there already and the total downloads have exceeded 4.5 billion. Recently the Android market overtakes Apple App Store in terms of free apps and analysts predict that it will be overtaking it in number of total apps later by 2011.
