After so much speculation and public demand, world's 5th largest smartphone maker Xiaomi, recently launched their phones officially in Bangladesh in collaboration with the largest mobile phone operator of the country Grameenphone. According to a statement released by the Grameenphone, the launching event was held at the Grameenphone Corporate House in Dhaka with the presence of Grameenphone Chief Marketing Officer Yasir Azman and Majibor Rahman, managing director of Solar-Electro Bangladesh Ltd, the official national distributor for Xiaomi in Bangladesh.

According to Grameenphone, they will sell Xiaomi Redmi 3, Mi Max and Mi 5 smart phones at Tk16,900, Tk26,490 and Tk37,900 respectively with one-year manufacturer warranty. These phones, coupled with global software, come with a one year official manufacturer warranty. Xiaomi is offering a 5000 mAh Mi power bank as a free gift during this campaign period with Grameenphone.
