Android powered mobile phones are already ruling the world by defeating Nokia Symbian and Apple iOS phones. But till now all the Android mobile phones are made for GSM based networks. But now in 2011 HTC decided to go for CDMA market with Android running phone. On February 25 HTC announced about CDMA based Android 2.2 running HTC Merge will be available to multiple US carriers like Verizon & Sprint from the beginning of spring 2011.
The HTC Merge combines with a QWERTY keyboard and large 2.8 inches capacitive 16M color touch screen of 480 X 800 pixels. This HTC CDMA Merge smartphone has a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash has the ability to capture high-definition 720p video. The HTC Merge smartphone also comes with integrated GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity with global roaming. Combining the functionality of Android OS with the HTC Sense experience, HTC Merge must satisfy you with all the Google mobile services onboard.
We still do not know anything about HTC Merge mobile phone pricing and worldwide availability. Its CPU power is also a mystery too.
