Samsung Galaxy S II is one of the most powerful Android phone out there only for a month. Already two firmware updates for Galaxy S II arrives through Samsung Kies. This update makes your phone Kernel version to 2.6.35.7-i9100XWKE2 revision. One of the update increases the responsiveness of the Swype software keyboard. Android Community reports that second update addresses the overzealous auto-brightness setting that continually irked during using. There are some connectivity patches also done.
Good news is this new firmware is also root able. So you can go with your custom ROMs and updates.
