First Android tablet by HTC is out now. Best Buy store just started to offer HTC Flyer tablet white version for $499.99. It has a 16GB internal memory with 32GB MicroSD memory card slot.
Fortunately Flyer tablet has the 7’’ display which I like most. Its 16M capacitive 7’’ display has a resolution of 600 X 1024. It supports HTC Sense too. Best Buy mentions Flyer will run by Android 2.3 Gingerbread but from the specs sheet we earlier know that it will comes with Android 2.4 Gingerbread. Connectivity features are awesome with Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and Wi-Fi b/g/n.
HTC Flyer has a 1.5GHz single core CPU and 5 megapixel autofocus camera on the back supporting 720p HD video recording. It has one 1.3 camera on the front for video calling too. HTC asks another $110 for one year protection plan for HTC Flyer tablet. For 2 years that will be $240.
