Samsung Galaxy S8 duo is now available in Bangladesh

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S8 and S8+ back in March 28th, 2017, the company’s first flagship phones since the Note 7 debacle in 2016. And after it's official release on April 21st, the phone is now also available in Bangladesh too. The Galaxy S8, priced at Tk. 77,900/- is available in Midnight Black and Maple Gold. The Galaxy S8+, priced at BDT 83,900 is available in Midnight Black, Maple Gold and Coral Blue.

The new phones’ most eye-catching feature is an almost completely bezel-free display, running the full width of the device, even curving around the edge. Samsung’s calls this the “infinity display”, and even the home button has been removed, replaced with a pressure-sensitive section at the bottom of the screen. The screen, with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels on both models, is also the first on a mobile phone to be rated as Mobile HDR Premium. The cameras on the two devices remain largely similar to those in the Galaxy S7: A 12MP rear-facing camera, with optical image stabilization, and an 8MP selfie camera, both with an F1.7 aperture. Inside the devices is an octa core CPU along with 4GB of Ram and 64GB of flash storage with an expansion slot for microSD card.

Unlike, Apple, which got rid of the headphone jack on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, Samsung's new S8 and S8+ still have a 3.5 mm connector and the phones will come with a set of AKG headphones in the box.
